Odor control

• 1. When you call us about an obnoxious odor, we immediately gather as much information as we can. We make an appointment to have our representatives come over for an inspection within 2 hours.

• 2. Some odors, like rotting or moldy smells, will universally be perceived as bad, while some are perceived as offensive by one person and as fine (or non existent) by another. This is why we often take some extra time to make sure we're all on the same page about which odor problem(s) we are trying to tackle, after which we will discuss all possible remediation options with you.

• 3. Together we determine to what extent we can get rid of the "source" of a smell. This is not always clear cut (or even fully possible) and depends on the situation. For example, a homeowner with a pet that will continue to live in the home exhibiting the same habits that caused the problem in the first place may require a different approach to someone selling their home and wanting to remove pet smells before permanently moving out. Cost, impact and whether the results will be permanent or temporary, are all part of our advice and help you strike the right balance in measures to take.

• 4. After you made your decision and we get a signed work order, the work can start. We will make sure to keep you in the loop every step of the way while we deal with the odor in the way we previously agreed upon. Often employing a combination of cleaning, removing and replacing affected materials and using technology like air filtration devices, absorption agents and ozone generators to literally clear the air.

• 5. After the odor control process is complete, we will perform a thorough check together to see and smell if every target we agreed upon beforehand has been met. Your odor problem should now be under control. After the job is finished we will check in with you shortly after and again a couple of weeks later to see if you're still satisfied with our service and happy with the result of our work. We always strive to meet or exceed your expectations!
