The homes we see out here

East Cobb is mostly multi-level houses on wooded lots, many of them with a finished basement. When a pipe fails upstairs, the water works down through every floor, which is how a supply-line failure we handled flooded all three floors of a house while the owners were on vacation.

Plenty of Marietta homes were built before 1980, which can mean asbestos in the walls and ceilings. On a fire cleanup in a 1979 home, we stopped mid-job to sample the insulation and waited for the results before opening up more of the wall.

A three-level water loss in East Cobb

A failed upstairs supply line flooded all three floors of this East Cobb home while the owners were away on vacation. By the time they got home, a clean-water leak had turned into a Category 3 loss with mold in the walls.

A hidden basement-wall fire in a Marietta home

This fire started and stayed inside the basement wall of a Marietta home, so the visible damage was minor but the hidden damage was not. We opened up the cavities to find how far the fire and smoke had traveled, chased the odor through all three floors, and cleaned, deodorized and sealed it in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Map of the Atlanta metro area with Marietta and East Cobb marked and circled, northwest of the city
How fast can you get to Marietta or East Cobb?
Usually within two hours for an emergency, any hour of the day. Cobb County is one of the quickest parts of the metro for us to reach.
Do you cover the rest of Cobb County?
Yes. We work across the whole county, including Smyrna, Kennesaw, Acworth and Powder Springs, and across the rest of metro Atlanta.
My house was built before 1980. Does that change the work?
It can. Materials from those years, like ceiling texture, old insulation and some flooring, can contain asbestos. Left undisturbed they are usually fine, but restoration often means cutting into them or ripping them out, and that can pose a hazard. When something looks suspect we test it first and only keep going once the results are back.
Will insurance cover the damage?
If it was sudden and accidental, usually yes. A burst pipe or a fire, for example. Slow leaks you've known about and flooding from outside usually aren't covered, and sewer backups need their own endorsement. We document everything as we work and meet the adjuster on site when that helps, so the claim reflects what actually happened to your house.
